It's 2 AM and, you feel exhausted even though you haven't accomplished much today. You feel down, sad and unproductive. You go to sleep feeling this way, and you wake up only for these feelings to rise right with you.

You are stuck in this endless cycle of dullness and unproductivity.

Now, how do I get out of this cycle? How do I finish my tasks or, how do I achieve my goals?

Today, I'll be writing about a few of my personally productive ways and some common fixes to cure this wave of random sadness.

  1. Forgive yourself; You need to mentally prepare yourself because this has been your comfort zone for a while now. It takes a ton of mental courage to pull yourself out from this ditch. Okay, so you take a few deep breaths and forgive yourself for all the days you haven't used well. It's all right. You're starting now and, be proud of that. Forgive the past you. Maybe you had your excuses but, now that you've decided to move forward in life, it's time to live. Note that this is a crucial step to climb mountains in your journey of self-healing and just getting your life back together.

  2. Reconstruct your priorities; It's essential to construct your strategic imperatives because there's always a chance that you're concentrating on issues that have the least amount of significance in your life. Make a list of everything you wish to achieve in the upcoming week, think deeply about how much each of these tasks means to you. Number them accordingly and, there you have your agenda for the week.

  3. Volatile Lifestyle; Look at your tasks not as dreams but as logical everyday tasks. Let's say you want to be a professional football player and, if we're breaking that goal down to weeks and days, all you have to do tomorrow is play football for an hour. You need to stop looking at your goals as your wildest dreams but break them down and get working. Break down each of your goals in such a manner that your everyday tasks will lead up to them collectively.

  4. Incorporate your dreams; We're in the finale and, I have this tiny hack that has helped me for ages now. Append your prioritized tasks right after something you do every day such, as brushing your teeth. Let's say you're prepping for UPSC and, reading the newspaper every day is one of your tasks that'll lead up to a good result. Line your tasks after everyday habits that you have no problem doing this, shall help increase your discipline and even ease the process.

  5. Grit to keep going; Now that you have all your tasks lined up and ready to go, do not forget to perform them daily. Wake up and choose to live and thrive. Choose to put your potential to complete use and emit flying colours as you dance your way out of life. Enjoy the process and constantly remind yourself to be proud of who you are.

With this, the guide to avoiding or ending unproductive days comes to an end. I hope this gives you some structure and insight into living life with no restrictions.
